Well hopefully if the American merger goes through we can all agree on who we work for. Seems like most east pilots, if you ask, say they work for US Air and west pilots say they work for America West. It's a bit of an identity crisis.

Everyone (passengers, citizens, etc) in the southeast US still call it USAir.
