they probably learned not to announce furloughs prior to the busy holiday season. They will wait til January. Not one single early retirement.

Did you ever think about using your nutsack and say something to him?

I'm thinking they don't want a thg/xmas disaster thus this bid. However if I'm not mistaken they need to give 60 days notice to furlough (now that all pilot working have more than one year). So I'm guessing a bid for March furloughing close to 100 in one swoop. If the 60 day notice is true then expect a furlough bid on thurs dec31.

Also don't forget training float. The 190 CA's (DOH 85 to 88) all need to bid someting else.

Either way I think they are going to stay fat for the holidays then hack us bottom 100 in one swoop either feb or march.

I think it is only a 14 day notice. I thnk that is all I got.

From Lyle Hogg

There will be furloughs associated with the sale of the 10 EMB aircraft. A staffing analysis is ongoing to determine how many and when they will happen.

At this point in time the remaining 15 EMB aircraft are staying on the property. I don't know if/when that may change.

I travel constantly but as of late it has been mostly DCA and CLT. In fact I will be in DCA next week and in CLT the week after. I try to visit the crew room whenever I pass through. I will try to schedule specific times to visit each domicile in the near future.

I was told the 60 or 30 days but I just looked at the contract and the only thing I saw in section 23 was 15 days.

with that my best guess is a bid after xmas of mid jan with a chunk (say 30 to 50) of furloughs.
