Cute kid indeed. I can't make my wife have kids now if she doesn't want them yet. She is in her early 30s and doing well in business, but she says maybe in a couple or a few years. I can handle that.

Bye Bye--General Lee

Well GL I can tell you this! When and If you do, your FI Post will be cut in Half!! LOL ;-)

that was funny...

Parker will still bring your company down into the toilet, and then celebrate that with a martini.

Bye Bye--General Lee

She's waiting to do that with her trophy hubby. Probably a Captain at USAir.

FJ

Wow, hillarious. You should be on Johny Carson.

Bye Bye--General Lee

Shocking, just shocking. FDJ2 was so sure I just don't know how he could've been so wrong. Another Flightinfo "expert" exposed.

To the non-self-proclaimed know-it-alls on Flightinfo:
Don't count Airbus out yet on other aircraft orders. I doubt USAirways will ever be an exclusive buyer.

I agree, the order for the 737 replacement hasn't been announced yet. Could be more A320's(darn it). I hope that article on the Dreamliner order is correct.

Back to the topic at hand....

Still no official word beyond that one article from yesterday. "No comment" from Parker on TV today when asked about the order.

A communication in the crew room (not sure who puts it out) had a statement in it that there were rumors of a 787 order, but the rumors were false. It mentioned an article in the press that stated US was going with the 787, but that no announcement had been made, and that there would not be an announcement for a few more weeks.

I haven't seen the official announcement from LCC yet. If it does come to fruition, congratulations, LCC would have made a smart choice.

I'd expect more Airbi to replace the 737s at LCC.

I do admit that the 787 rumor took me by surprise. I'm not sure if it's not designed to put more pressure on Airbus to either get it's act together on the A350, or come down some on the 737 replacement order, or possibly both. In any event, I haven't seen anything official from Tempe on this yet.

In the meantime, bask in the glory of a possible Boeing order.:)

All this talk reminds me of a girls locker room filled with cheerleaders.

Who cares what you fly!

This job is about PAY and DAYS OFF.

And some wonder what's wrong with the indusrty...

This coming from the same doosh bag who used to torture the UAL guys on the AOL boards looking for his "747" manuals after the proposed UAL/AAA merger!
Talk is cheap!

Yeah, but I would rather fly a newer model with nav displays so that I don't have to pull out my maps ever again. Hey, as an FO, I wouldn't want to continue to fly those junky 737s - a man's got his pride.............. Those 737s couldn't be more delapidated on the East Coast fleet - in need of some serious repainting jobs too.

You should know that... it's like SCOPE for your ass.

Do you have a relevant point to make regarding the preoccupation of pilots with crew food, uniforms and airplanes rather than pay and days off?

Guess not. Enjoy your ride.

The point...

Pay me $300,000 per year with 20 days off a month and I'll fly anything.
