They probably threw in free booze for Dougie, he doesn't really like French Champaigne.

Personally, if the integration goes somewhat equal....screw the fences. I.E. we all get to achieve something close to our expected spot at age 60 or 65 whatever it is by then....

Alas I doubt it will happen, so uhmmm...30 year fence should be ok...j/k

"The 787, a twin-aisle plane that is between the 737 and 747 in size,"

OK that narrows it down real well....

how big is the plane bob "its somewhere between a piper cub and A380, you know with the hirring boom and pilot shortage we may just have to hire thoes lite sport pilot guys to fill in"

Are these the 30 that were booked a week or so ago??? Thought those were supposed to be Delta's?

General Lee is probably locked in his bathroom cryin with his wife yelling, "Don't worry Honey, it's gonna be ok!"

Interesting choice. This certainly matches up with NWA's fleet a whole lot better going forward. Not that I think that this had anything to do with Doug's decision, as I don't think he wants to merge with anyone. I think that he has made that very clear in the past. Consolidation in the airline industry should not happen!

Very bad for Airbus but I predict almost all US carriers go with the 787 and BA decides to open a second line to meet demand. The CEO has already stated they are surprised by the strength of the orders to this point. Nobody wants to hitch their horse to the Airbus wagon going down in the lake. By 2020 seeing a 787 will be as exciting as seeing a 737 is now.

We supposedly have some via a lessor. More will be learned after we exit BK, which will be in about a week or so.

Bye Bye--General Lee

Huh? I never said USAir was only going to go with Airbus. I, along with almost everyone else, knew that Airbus financed some of USAir's BK exit, so assuming that is not anything new. Good for them. We will know more about our 787s in the next couple weeks. Now, get back to your Dash 8 and start studying for the FE written and Fedex.

Cute kid indeed. I can't make my wife have kids now if she doesn't want them yet. She is in her early 30s and doing well in business, but she says maybe in a couple or a few years. I can handle that.

Bye Bye--General Lee
