It says a lot. A lot which cannot be discussed.

DAL is going to do a lot of things that are very forward looking. It will further solidify their strength.
 

In one transaction he could:


1.) Rid himself of a fleet type: E-190 (cost savings).

2.) Rid himself of older aircraft: older 737's (cost savings).

3.) Ensure the minimum fleet size is being complied with (one less union mess).

4.) Might even be a little cash tied to the deal (increase cash)

Too logical. Send some 319s to LCC and do to Frontier what has already been done to Midwest.
 
Sounds like Airways "management" is of the mindset that if they got rid of all the planes and pilots that they would make huge profits!
