Lot's more Replacement Jets............yeah, great plan guys.

And you don't have them? We can't get ahold of any mainline equipment right now other than the ex-TWA 757s we are getting from AA. If we could, we would. We have reinstated several domestic routes for this Summer that have always proved profitable (ATL-JAC, BZN, BOI, ANC etc) and added new ones (LAX-ANC, ATL-Kalispell, ATL-Fresno etc) to try to generate more profit, while expanding our European flights with larger planes (764s) to always profitable Summertime routes(--ATL-Munich, Barcelona, etc).

What is your genius plan? Doug thinks pi$$ing off his pilot group will help....

I'll come back to this and let you know.

I think #1 will be totally wrong. #2 may be overly optimistic too. Define well and not as well. I think '07 will see you treading water and '08 will suck.

You do that..... I think you are wrong with your predictions, and should stick to flying planes.....

Well that's 5 minutes of my life i'll never get back reading children's posts. When your dads return from their trips and find out you immature children have been posting on their accounts, they will not be happy.

I didn't say we don't have any RJ's but you guys lead the pack by far and keep giving away what should be mainline jobs. Again....great plan.

What is your genius plan?

My Plan:confused: Unlike you, I don't have any delusions that I actually come up with the business plan of the company I work for but what we're doing seems to be working just fine thank you.

Thanks Dad. Nice avatar you grownup.......

Your CEO is desperate for a merger because he has no plan and over 50% of your stock is owned by hedge funds. Good luck with that.

Maybe Doug thought that Us Airways pilots would bend over with a smile like the Delta guys do.....Sure take my pension and cut my pay in half but PLEASE Keep Delta My Delta. A few of you guys on this board come up with every 'Joe Bloe testifies' article about what sucks with Us Airways when your company just destroyed your take home pay, ravaged your work rules, and terminated your retirement. It's like a battered wife defending her husband because he used to be a real sweet guy years ago.....

Just out of curiosity General, how much money do you think your superiors are going to make off this Ch11? I would think that stealing the proud Delta Pilots' retirement and cutting their pay in half has got to be worth at least 100million to Wall Street....I'm sure your management team is going to enjoy vacationing in all those wonderful new international routes your opening.

In case you feel like joining them you might find some lodging here....www.hostelworld.com

I can throw stones with the best of em but what's the point? Let's stop playing the my airline is better than yours game and get unified in restoring this profession!!!!

Voted no. Delta guys did bend over in the same fashion the USAirways guys did. One difference, the Delta contract is far superior. Payrates, work ruels, recall rights, 2.1 billion claim, 650 million note and the list goes on. USAirways pilots started the downslide. Thanks.

What you just don't seem to grasp is that I am pulling for you all to vastly improve your contract. What is good for you all is good for the profession. Hope you are aiming for at least $250 hr. for the widebodies.

Green,

You must not keep up with the actual facts. Yes, our pensions were taken, but we were given a $650 million note plus $2.1 billion in equity as an exchange, plus 9% of our monthly pay in a DC fund. The guys that left early got half of their pension in a lump sum, plus got $800 million in claims or equity. The $2.1 billion and the $800 million for the early retirees will be subject to claim sale prices, but we have heard that most claims were sold at around 60-65 cents on the dollar, which is a lot better than Uniteds 24 cents on the dollar.

As far as our wages, I think ours are higher than yours, and our work rules are a lot better.

You ask how much money my superiors will make out of the exit of Chap 11. Well, a lot less than United's. United initially wanted 15%, and got 7-8%. Our creditor committee MADE our management agree to 3-4% of the equity. That still will make them rich I am sure, but not as rich as they could have been. Grinstein is rich already.

Any more questions?
