Wonder what Stanley and Limp Dick Queer Coeling will pull out of their arse to explain this one.

Good luck Blustreakers..........Local ALPA Weak + High Oil = TK f..in around with numbers again
True, kinda...and it will be round 3 or 4...I lost count. PSA, or RPA, to be specific. From the memos and last face to face I was in with a, LCC Asst. CP, (WB-CLT) LCC is not happy with Mesa, so I don't see anything going on there. Their contract is up in '12 (I think) and can't get here fast enough for LCC.J for J round two will not happen unless PSA gets more airplanes.
Yes, but, no. The J4J protocols are still in affect through the LOAs. USAPA has to honor them or renegotiate them. If it happens, which I doubt, the main body of the J4J will stay. For know, J4J is dormant, unless they turn the E190s loose to an affiliate. LCC did it with the E170s, but there are scope issues with the E190s that would have to be resolved. I highly doubt USAPA will give up scope.buxflyr said:Also, mainline is now USAPA. Different union, and different rules.
you mean RAH then followed by SkyWest
Last I looked, SkyWest is not a LCC Express affiliate...yet. Did I miss something?
Only the arrogance of some Skywest pilots thinking their company is the odds-on favorite for ANY replacement or growth small jet flying for ANY airline.
as to this particular situation, who then is the 'odds on favorite'?
For replacing Mesa in the US Airways system?
I'd say "nobody"...but if Dougie gives you USX flying then good for ya...
Might be RPA. They just moved to the C Terminal in CLT and Mesa moved to the E Terminal. Picking up more Mesa weekend flights and some former PSA weekend stuff in July. Some might be seasonal flying.

Dont know specifics but Joe Rose came in. Said all USairway express carriers got flying cut for the future. PSA/PDT lost the least via percentage. Contract carriers lost greater percentages. According to him, he was part of the phone convos with Parker and the others, the convo stated they could not furlough mainline without cutting express as well. Thus all express carriers for Usairways is "supposely" going to be losing flying. Now who knows what will really happen.
smoooooooooookin' joe!
When someone is willing to sign diamond J off IOE then I'll start to believe his oral diarhea. He's just TK's little puppet.Yeah that guy... As I said I dont know how much of that I believe. Or perhaps PSA/PDT just got cut and he's trying to make it sound better. But I'd have a feeling everyone lost some.

The only thing I could see them doing is pulling down some flight hours, but they will even have a hard time with that.
Hard time doing what, reducing hours of carriers? Not at all. They can do as they wish as bad as it sucks. As long as you have flying they have met the contract. Also I'd be more worried about the Chap 11 thoughts. If airways were to TU I really dont see them bouncing back IMO.
Oh I agree about the chapter 11, but there are minimum block hours in every contract, I am guessing they are pretty close to them now, and I am betting by the end of the summer they will still be pretty close to them.
