Well guys.... I posted this not too long ago, but I hope it helps out..... Its a bit strange, but who's hiring practices are "normal".....I knew a guy in the pool for 4 years before he got hired......good luck to all in the pool.... and hopefully see you in the ville.....
Its still a puzzle how they do things, but here is my best stab at it....
If you interview and they really don't like you....... then you get the ding letter withing a week. (For example.... a furloughed Delta buddy interviewed and they asked if he'd be willing to resign.... the idiot hesitated and well.... his letter was dated the next day and got it within 5 days of his interview)
If they interview you and they don't know if they like you........ then you get the ding letter in about 4 weeks.
If they interview you and they like you...... then you get a letter saying your in the pool and THAT is another thread all by its self.
And finally If they interview you and they like you alot........ then you get a call 4 to 6 weeks after your interview getting a conditional offer with a class date, pending your medical. <-----You'll know this because they'll be doing the back ground check on you and if you marked the....send me a copy box... you'll be glad to know your gonna get an offer, just be patient.
There are a few numbers floating around about how many pilots UPS is going to hire......I have heard 700 to 1200. Any Brown Uniforms out there wanna comment on the rumored numbers?
Good luck to all that are applying
