Unusual airline call signs

I believe the lamest would be JANET or something like that out of LAS. Those are the generic 73's.

I also didn't like ASA's "KANDLER" (for all of you spelling police, give me a break) I believe that was the owners last name. Way to egotistical.

And of course, I can't stand hearing "GATEWAY" (not GET-AWAY)

I herd "Death" the other day when talking to Kansas City Center, I think it was a B-2. Also the airport i work at has "Upset" (KC-135's out of MKE) and "Sweets" (C-130's out of MKE).

Agreed..however they have since changed theyre call sign to "Acey" and Candler is no more....
