You heard it here first, may be as soon as this coming fall semester.
 
Holy crap...I've been waiting on this. Trickle down to the college level. If this happens I bet there are a bunch more to follow. Very old and distinguished program.
 
Yes, but the school was not making any money on the program, and U of I was having to lower their academic standards for the aviation program just so that they could get enough students admitted as so few were applying.

Yeah, who in their right damn mind would want to be a professional pilot in this day age???
 
Thats why I am staying away from the airlines. Just because you are miserable does not mean that everyone else is.
 
I'm not miserable junior, just realistic. Yeah stay away from airlines because corporate flight departments never down size, and are always a safe bet. Sleep tight in that fantasy world.

I fly a corporate jet but for a rich person not a corporation. And this place is a pretty safe bet. But thanks for the warning.
 
Yes they do, although I think that pilot training across the country is way down.
