If you have to worry about logging "student" time, you shouldn't be applying to a major.

If you're not licensed, it doesn't count. Geez... TC

Really the bottom line is if someone wants to work at UAL (or anywhere for that matter) they need to fill out the job app as requested by the company. That thing about following instructions is very important.

Hi!

Why should I do it the way the company wants??? That's crazy!

I've been a 121 captain here at Corn Row airlines now for 12 years, and I quit logging time 4 years ago! I had over 12,000 hours when I quit logging time. I deserve a spot at Airline ZX!

I'll walk in to the interview and get handed the job. Screw them if they want a bunch of stupid crap! I'm not doing it!

Personally, I'd still pick UAL over Skybus and the likes. Who knows, the future United NorthContinental Delta Airlines might have a bright future after all.

Ps. Lear - Good luck with y'alls TA, hope you get what you deserve.

Dream on.

No, I think they will get a good contract, as long as they stay united and I think they will.
Thanks for the vote of confidence!

Still a lot of work to do and a long way to go, but giving up is definitely not the answer... :)
