At the risk of making various folks angry, again, I understand the "take it back" idea, concept, movement, etc...with that said:

How does a pilot group actually "take it back" to have it and keep?
Restore ALPA's merger and fragmentation policy. Then shut the barn door.

ALPA has become management's poodle. Maybe UAL and DAL mainline ALPA can grow some man-berries and stop selling the soul of the profession. I'm not optimistic, however, as long as the senior mainline pilots can extract a few extra bucks by prostituting their contracts for a few extra bucks before they retire at 65.

Challenge accepted and it has "YOU" written all over it. Who else can it be ATR? Why are you waiting for "someone" dude? My challenge to you is to do your part! COLLECTIVELY it might work...

Airline Affiliates and Impact to Mainline
March 5, 2010 was the last update for this page.
Over the past few years legacy airlines have increased capacity and revenue by contracting with regional type airlines operating primarily smaller jets [under 70 seats]. These "contracts" are known as "capacity purchase agreements".

In addition to capacity purchase agreements, American, Delta, and USAir also operate their own regional jet carriers.

Tables below provide the affiliate impact for the airlines covered by this website since year 2003. A summary of each airlines regional affiliation is provided below the table.

Graphs provide side-by-side comparisons for selected metrics.
