Of course reducing a lot by 15% still leaves, well, a lot....
"United Airlines CEO Jeff Smisek saw his total compensation fall 15 percent to $8.1 million last year, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission late Friday. "
Took a hit on his "performance bonus."
"Smisek took home a salary of $975,000, the same as the year before. The value of his stock awards increased to $5.7 million from $3.1 million in 2012. But his performance-based bonus slid to $1.2 million from $3.5 million the year before."
Guy gets some nice perks, totaling about $169K to include "on board meals." What the hell are they feeding that dude?
Anyway, sounds like good work if you can get it.
