Of course reducing a lot by 15% still leaves, well, a lot....

"United Airlines CEO Jeff Smisek saw his total compensation fall 15 percent to $8.1 million last year, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission late Friday. "

Took a hit on his "performance bonus."

"Smisek took home a salary of $975,000, the same as the year before. The value of his stock awards increased to $5.7 million from $3.1 million in 2012. But his performance-based bonus slid to $1.2 million from $3.5 million the year before."

Guy gets some nice perks, totaling about $169K to include "on board meals." What the hell are they feeding that dude?

Anyway, sounds like good work if you can get it.

He is in so far over his head it is laughable, just another spreadsheet warrior who doesn't understand why being a Harvard MBA equates to little or no actual management ability.

And yet he employs your mom to mop his floors.
