Shouldn't it say "after it made a hard landing it's landing gear collapsed" ???

Flight 7534, from White Plains, N.Y., was taxiing about 9:40 p.m. when it experienced landing-gear problems and skidded into a grassy area, said Tara Hamilton, a spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority.

The 27 passengers and three crew members deplaned on the grass with the assistance of firefighters, said Jeff Green, a spokesman for United. The plane, a turboprop, was a United Express plane operated by regional airline Shuttle America, he said.

8 posts and no bashing, yet??? C'mon, it's flightinfo.com, you don't need facts to initiate bashing.

The crew was swerving to avoid a Northwest captain. He was running across the airfield in a valiant yet vain attempt to stop yet another hot refueling by a Pinnacle crew.

...unfortunately, the northwest pilot had landed at the wrong airport in is A320...

...and was scheduled to deadhead back to MSP on an America West flight, later cancelled because the pilots were not only drunk, but in prison...

...he was denied jumpseat access on Delta because he had previously walked past a Comair aircraft without urinating...

...finally threw up his arms in disgust, declaring Mesa pilots to be the cause of all evil in aviation, and sitting down in the terminal.

After 18 hours airport police noticed his presence. TSA employees robbed him of every item of value (after sniffing his breath and dropping his laptop).

Because he was unattended, he was taken to a remote area of the airport and detonated.

Crew scheduling has assigned him a missed-trip for failing to deadhead once deceased.

What's flame bait here? Are you denying that the crash actually occurred?

What crash? The FAA prelim report shows a gear collapse after landing... no injuries, damage is most likely minor. And you call that a crash?

You're a flamebaiting idiot. Perhaps with thread headlines like that you should be a writer for the National Enquirer... moron.

Hopefully maintenance left the hoist chain wrapped around the engine so the whole thing could be easily towed away on the back of a wrecker, where it belongs!

Funny as hell. Nice work.

No, not really... just read a few of IHaveAPension's other posts and you'll get the idea. He's nothing but flamebaiting a$$hole; looks like Rhoid has resurfaced.

I think you're on to something here. Most crash photos I have seen involved lots of destruction and fire. I beleive there were some photos like that in EWR circa 96-97 and in MEM a year or so ago.

I'll give 3-1 odds there was a chick in the cockpit. Any takers?

And... she went to Embry-Riddle and Gulfstream

Dude you need to change the title or think of better wording next time. Landing gear collapse is not a crash! and it was Shuttle America, d/b/a United Express, not United Airlines.
