This would not have any effect on a new hire, due to the fact that you would be junior to begin with. You will just here everyone BI*#H about it until you are sick.

The only people that got screwed are the Dornier PSA pilots, they are the ones that got the J4J (50% of the captains seats given away with out a pilot vote) forced upon them. Now in an even more clever move the MEC gave away seniority (sloted bidding for APL pilots once again no pilot vote) based on a LIE, misrepresented facts, or just general stupidity, not sure if it is one of the reasons listed or a mixture of the above.

Smoke,

Thanks. We were told during the interview in July, upgrade would be around 12-18 mos. Now that they have extended the delivery deadline to 4/06, will that change the seniority timeframe? Logic to me says yes, since PSA won't be getting as many jets as fast as they would before?

THanks!

If I had to take a guess I would say 24-36 or longer depending on your DOH, to many different paths this things could take to be accurate on the guess.

Who knows the PSA MEC may give up new hires to wash J4J pilots cars because someone said someone said PDT was going to do it.

So does this mean that I'm going to have to study up on all of the new fangled car waxes that just hit the market. I'm thinking a nice Meguires "wet" look wax would be the way to go for a J4J's Corvette....:)

oh wait silly me I'm not even hired yet, I guess I'll have to show my auto waxing credentials during the interview process........

Smoke, thanks for a honest answer. Interesting difference from what they told us in interview. It's crazy how things are changing there. It's hard to keep up!

Thanks!
