Received the official TSO certification letter from the FAA today.

UFlyMike Headset is TSO certified under C-139.

awesome mike, thanks for the info. love the product, works great in the lear 35. somebody told me that SWA pilots weren't allowed to use them anymore, any truth to that?

Congrats!!!!

Now if only I had some money and a job I would totally eBay the headphones and buy the mic!

Hope to soon!

What I would pay to see the faces of the Bose people right now!!!:angryfire

Mike,
I love the headset and I need some more of your cards. I handed the ones you gave me out like candy. Awesome headset!!!

The former lack of TSO was the hurdle. Now everybody can use 'em.

Regretfully, no. QX added a provision to our FOM that any ANR headset must fail-safe when the battery dies, in addition to our TSO requirement. Therefore, the QC is not an approved headset for our operations.

Hope that silliness doesn't spread to other carriers.
