How EXACTLY did I slip through the cracks?! Do you know my history BEFORE TSA Mr. Matthews? If not then keep your piehole SHUT.

It took me 18 years to get to United and it was EARNT not GIVEN.

If you even know me then you know that I wouldn't come across as high and mighty. Ask anybody that I still know there at TSA and you will get a different opinion I am sure. BY ALL MEANS SEND ME A PM and we can talk about it on the phone.

Damn mate,

you left Spirit to go to United?!? ....REALLY?!

Good luck, and say hello to "Skippy!"

PtP

I will.........

And yes I did - being that I live in Denver (it was either 20 minutes to work ) or 4hour commute.

I believe when it is all said and done - United will be close to what it was in 2000.

is 75/76 the same bid at UAL like at CAL, do you fly both? Or based separately?

thanks

any new hires,
how much have you spent on lodging and other expenses during new hire training total? roughly?

1,000 hours of pilot time just shows you're interested in aviation. So now days, those that want to fly for the majors must show they are interested. That is what 1,000 hours of PIC turbine time shows: You're now showing interest in becoming an airline pilot.

United Training UAL UA Hotel Motel Stapleton Denver Center

Super 8 address 7201 East 36th Avenue, Denver, CO 80207 (303)393-7666 Just talked to Paul there. He said 30 a day no tax for a month. Per day 40 no tax. Special rate for UAL in training. Plan on two weeks indoc and 4 weeks aircraft specific at least. To go to training walk out front door of hotel to street on your right then go left to main road (Quebec) walk one block passed sonic and kinkos make left onto E35 Ave and 400 feet to make right into front entrance of trainng parking lot then about 400 feet more to front entrance of building on listed on training packet. I was entering at the first building at left of training parking lot entrance and walking through the maze of hallways to save my ears from freezing that last 400 feet. Take one of those folding wheeled roller carts to carry your flight bag/books. And the food in the training center cafeteria is pretty good and decently priced including omelletes for breakfast. It also includes a do it yourself sandwich bar to make yourself a quick sandwich on a 10 minute claas break if you walk fast With this hotel you don't have to wait for a shuttle to take you over there when you want to go to the learning center. Across street from hotel everything you could ever want in retail and food except Ruth Chris wasted money house. Even a home depot if u wanna fix up your room or WalMart for that folding roller contraption or some ear mffs if its still freezing. For people searching hotels like I was the following words are so they can find this post. United Training UAL UA Hotel Motel Stapleton Denver Center And for negative industry people.... what have you got something better and are going to open the door for us to Utopia? Yeah thought so.

hmmm:

Thanks very much for that info!

Yeah, it's tough to start over, but what else are you gonna do, wait for the major your regional flies for to cut your fleet in half during section 6?...nope..I'll take my chances flying for a better company, until it merges or goes ch. 11 again...

Hope my class date holds up....

If anyone is sitting in the Regionals and thinking about making the jump...I would say GO FOR IT!

You have ZERO long term prospects as a RJ Driver.

Look at the History ACA, Comair, Air Willy(the one from the 80-90's) Buisness Express....etc

Think about it.
