The phone call was a brief "let's go over your application and anything that might be out of the ordinary (failed checkrides, etc if you have anything)."

It was also a chance to go over your flight times, specifically your jet PIC, TP PIC over 12,500 lbs, under 12,500 lbs, etc. - they'll ask you to have your logbooks handy and your printed application would be a real plus.

They'll then ask you "Why United", "What do you like least about your current carrier", 3 or 4 typical HR type questions.

Was only about 15-20 minutes, not long at all...

Good luck!

Well I guess I'll throw my experience thus far out there.
I applied sometime in the summer and got that "please update your flight times" message in late November. Once I did that it was just a few days until the Hogan test. A couple of days after that I had the phone interview. Seems pretty standard as far that goes. Just a 15-20 minute verification of your app and few random questions. I tried to make a little small talk with lady as well. Got the invitation to take that other test within the 72 hrs they said it would take to notify me if I was moving forward.

My question is.....what is the actual interview like? There really doesn't seem to be a whole lot of gouge floating around like the other carriers have. I think someone told me there is no more sim ride??

There isn't much info on the interview because we had to sign a Non-disclosure statement. I can say that it is part technical and part TMAAT. There is no sim ride.

After taking the Hogan assessment, does UAL HR contact you via email first saying you've passed or do they just call you out of the blue?

Took the Hogan assessment weeks ago but haven't been called or emailed anything. What's up?

They called me out of the blue, I just happened to be sitting at my house and had my logbooks right there.

They offered to reschedule for a time I would have them available, it just happened to work out.
