BJJ--Be sure that you can live with yourself if for some reason you don't get into, or complete flight school. There are a million things that can go wrong, and most of them are things that you've got no control over. Make sure that you can be content with contributing to the Navy in some capacity other than aviation.

Best of luck.

Sounds closer to the truth.

Like when the Navy recruiter told me that: " even though you are Color Blind... No Problem! We'll find you a seat!". My buddy wound up scraping barnacles and " flying plastic dog "doody" (sorry, CENSORED) out of".... you guessed it .

Paranthetically, He had BOTH balls, AND 20-20 vision.

"It looks pretty bad for civilian pilots right now. Im going into the mil with every intention of doing 20."

Oh you'll change your tune when the detailer calls you up and asks " What coast do you want your disassociated sea tour on? By the way the carriers are full, but theres an LHA in Japan that needs a fuels officer."

reading this board and seeing such threads as Delta vs comair, Song vs Jet Blue, Rjs Vs mainline, United vs. the world, I have come to one conclusion...Fly FEDEX.
