Can I PLEASE get another lecture from a DAL ALPA koolaid victim as to why a TA YES vote is partly due to my group doing nothing for the last three years! I really wish we all had the cojones of GL...

even the scabs vote to strike.

They shouldn't be allowed to.....

If you think Obama or any other pres would allow that large of a strike during an election cycle you are nuts. You are talking about how many employees that are affected. 70K, 80K or more (just a guess) By all means check all the boxes just don't hold your breath. I wish you the best but I just don't see a release.

ALPA members are not a hotbed of support for Obama. We are targeted as financiers of his socialism.

Got to agree with Uncle Bort, we have big financial targets on our backs, but a threatened strike under a Democratic President is about as good as it gets, good luck to every UNICAL pilot and their families.

GOOD STUFF PEEPS . If and when, I'll try to be there for Ya. Been a few years since I "walked the line". Don't think I forgot how.

Time to break out the :uzi: "Rat":smash:

In solidarity,

FAJ

Big difference between getting released and going on strike is the 30 day cooling off period. That's 30 days of intense bargaining while customers book away. If the President chooses to issue a PEB, that starts another 60 day clock. That 90 days get's us pretty close to an election and offers Obama a real good opportunity to assist in putting together a deal that might be favorable at the polls...

I think we're pretty close to being released by the NMB, but still a long way from being on strike.

The NMB can stretch you guys out for years, literally.

I hope they do release you, but I don't see it anytime soon.
