UAL Aircraft to be Repossesed This Week?

Got this from a friend, however I have not seen it anywhere else. Has anyone else heard of this?

"..UAL 767 Ship #'s 6348, 6354, 6355, 6356 and 6350 to be repo'd this week.

What type of 767s are getting repo'd. Could they be the 300ER?

They weren't repossessed. They were returned to the lessors. The company was unable to negotiate a lease rate that made financial sense for UAL, so they had to return them.

Like NWA for example? Be the spoiler on ticket price increases for two years so you can now get to the point of asking to be released from negotiations with AMFA. The plan? Fire half the AMFA guys and give 25-35% pay cuts to those that get to stay. Brilliant.

Let me try again. All NON AIRLINE companies try to make a profit. Seems to be that the shareholders agree that that is a good business plan.
