Northwest did the same thing with Compass. Mainline flying is steadily being given to Compass. This seems to be managements newest tool to shore up the bottom line and reduce pilot expense...

And why wouldn't they? when pilots said that "newco was a die in this hill issue" but still voted yes to newco (a.k.a. Compass) by an outstanding 60+%

Civil Disobedience.....yeah, we spend a few days in jail, they fine us, we go back to work, and do it again, until they change their tune.

How many stakeholders would force Tilton to modify, because they cant let Ual go under?

Yup, Compass at NWA was the nail in our coffin. Proved MEC's everywhere will sell out their own for furlough protection (flowback). They already had Mesaba pilots, who were loyal and working with them, and were starved for growth. Many 6, 7 year FOs.
These MEC's are loyal to no one but themselves, not their own, not the profession.

Don't worry guys, Obama will fix this. Just be patient. I am sure there is some money for us in the new stimulus package.;)
