Funny, I took the job at AT 11 years ago thinking it wouldn't last, but anything was better than my turbo prop commuter job. I hope it all works out.
As I recall, you talked me through the interview process, after a PM on this very website. Too funny, Fletch, here we are again.
D'Oh! Woo-hoo! And everything in between. Here's to the next ten years, brutha!
You''re headed back to the right seat little man!
I have learned 4 things from this job 1) Never take a job for upgrade time 2) Never move for your airline (ACA and Chicago...I lost $2,000 down payment when we closed base down 2 days later) 3) Never make a lateral move (almost took a job with netjets when AT was furloughing...I would be on the street and eating the donkey with this news) and 4)This industry really sucks
2. "Go Around", 3. "You gotta slow down if you want flaps" 4.
I think about a 10 button box should cover the basic often repeated phrases... Anyone have some more phrase ideas to help me finish my product?
Im not saying it will turn out this way...but just in case I'll be ready for that first day flying as an F/O with an Airtran Captain... I am working on my device that I will hook to the airplane's intercom. It will have prerecorded messages that the captain will hear from my voice through the intercom just with a push of a button. So far I have come up with 1."We don't do that here", 2. "Go Around", 3. "You gotta slow down if you want flaps" 4. "If you plan on taxiing from the gate, you gotta start the other engine".

I was supposed to be in an April 9th 2001 class at AT. O well.
My post was to get TY WEBB fired up. It worked. Didn't even have to quote him but it's clear he is expecting HIS windfall as if it is owed to him.
