Is this call sign used by Pacific Wings? Watched a guy takeoff in a Caravan yesterday with said call sign around 1400L with a massive squall line and 72 knot winds at the airfield. Storm was right on top of the field with windshear reported in all quadrants and the tower evacuated...way to go Mr. Discount Charter Pilot Guy!

That would be Pacific Wings. Govt subsidized company. If the said pilot lives to the 2012 election he likely won't be flying under that call sign. (Fingers crossed)

I live near one of their out stations, and these kids have already scared off what few passengers they had. Most folks would rather drive the 3 hours to BNA, then have their nerves rattled for 50 minutes. Of course, the local powers that be, are happy the town has "airline" service. A total waste of tax payers money.

Just read this... I was there that day as well. Ground tells him the airport is yous, you are cleared to taxi to any runway you want to and cleared for takeoff. It was a crowed pleaser. The moron tookoff right into the squal line to the West with tornado warnings in all direction.
