All the crying about 19 furloughs at TSA is just more flamebait to make GJ look bad. Don't fall for it, GJ is not doing any routes that TSA did.

They temporariliy put new hires on furlough while they transition out of the props...they will be called back before the end of summer. It's very unfortunate that they got furloughed at all but it's due to the company growing out of the props.

The furlough announcements came before the last class completed IOE. They were allowed to complete so they would be able to recall in a few months.

It is not all doom and gloom at TSA.....don't let them fool you. Things are going well.

One more thing. There are at least two that where furloughed that have interviewed and been given a job at GJ. Bet the TSA pilots on this site won't tell you that.

What do you say about the people that are off probation (hardly newhires) that got notices in the last couple days for an August furlough?

What about parking 3 airplanes?

Is that indicative that things are going well?

Bet the TSA pilots on this site won't tell you that.

Yep, it's already been discussed. They had to resign there TSA seniority number to work for the same company.

GJ is not doing any routes that TSA did.

Been discussed as well, San Antonio routes that were done last month by TSA are now being done by g0jet.

If you want good PR, tell your management to make it one pilot list. This is not going to get better until that happens. Can you tell me one reason why it can't?

It's up to 60 furloughs now.....
And what about the 25 or more captains that are getting paycuts? The most senior captain who is getting displaced was hired 8/01. G0jet wasn't even a thought back then.

only 2 post, nice try.

Sure will...

They panicked and were weak..Nothing like mgmt putting a little whisper in their ear and giving them a "pep" talk.. And please..... They let tham finish IOE so that when they realized they screwed up, they can get them back... Sure... So... See ya, thanks for the help...And we'll call you when we need you.. But we have no timeline and no idea when.. And don't know when we will furlough more.Ooops. There we go again.. More fulroughs.. Never saw that coming... So, thanks for the time.... You are a moron... And you can still put all the favorable stuff you want, but you know damn well that you are making any point you can dig up to make it seem like you guys are doing well and are happy... Go on, make yourself feel better about what yu did and who you are/fly for... A little pat on the back from your fellow "aviators" at hojets and all is good.. Loser.

Are you that stupid and weak minded that you actually believe what TSA MGMT....oh sorry G0Jet Managment tells you. You are a F*cking idiot. Keep believing them stupid. Just so you know a little truth... its 60 furloughs.
They furloughed more, right after they said they weren't going too.
Also, I 'm glad i got a copy of the Warn act notice in my mailbox. Since i believe it is required by federal law. Did anybody get it? not just furloughed people.

Well, the class that just finished was NOT new hires it was 41 guys going to the jet. The 41 transition class before the last one has furloughs coming out of it, 2 that I know of, probably more since they were the most junior 41 guys. The new hire class that was allowed to finish IOE was in the first round of furloughs and ya know what, all of those guys have jobs and none will come back. The second round that I am in, most likely none of us will come back, I will probably find a new career before I come back to a company like this. Supposedly the TSAH management aka HK, RL, etc... didnt even tell RZ about this, he said he had no clue they were furloughing more until they told him the number, they didnt even discuss it with him. Do I believe that, maybe, since if HK plan comes to fruition even RZ will have no job. Am I bitter about this whole thing, yes. Thanks for the experience in the jet HK.

I don't know what that is.

so they just furloughed these gusy b/c the 41's are going away? and once they are all gone tsa is going to call them back? if that's the case, how do you explain scheduling having to junior pilots and cancel flights b/c they don't have coverage? funny...i would think that if you don't have coverage you shouldn't furlough people. the furloughs came when all of the 1st displacement class was done with ioe, get your facts straight CAPTAIN.

on another note...i have a friend who works for eagle and he had to get home b/c of a family emergency so he had no choice to take blow jets. the blow jet captain denied him the jumpseat b/c they weren't able to jumpseat on eagle. apparently the captain was really pissy about it and had a bad attitude.

Basically everything in your post is wrong!

Go to h*ll CRJ_700_Captain! I can't wait until HK goes and screws you over too! And it will only be a matter of time. But actually for those of us that did get furloughed, it is a blessing in disguise, since most of us have found other jobs elsewhere anyway. HK is truly one of the biggest lowlife's I have ever met, along with you!

His attitude will only deteriorate over the years at g0jet. Too bad.

Should have said NO to G0jet.

Have you ever met him? I rode the elevator one time with him and he is a short ********************er. I am only 5'8" and he was like 4 inches shorter than me, maybe he has short hindu ********************ers syndrome of having to ******************** over anything that breathes.

I just don't understand how any pilot can come on some web board and say that they won b/c they screwed another pilot group over and put guys on the street. So whatever.....

I met one of the affected the other day. Just finishing up IOE, and getting canned.

...and yes, it because you guys took a job at an alter-ego carrier that should be on a single list with TSA, rather than what it is.

You canned him, plain and simple.

Does anyone have a picture of Hulas....? Isn't it funny that we all worked/work for this guy and most of us don't know what he looks like...interesting ehh for such a small company. For those of you being furloughed and applying to expressjet we would be happy to have yall... do apply.Use the furlough link on the website....the grass is much greener pretty much every where else(XJT, SKYW, CHQ,and AWAC) but TSA.

Best of Luck to all Furloughed!!

Oh Yeah ...walk to work GAYWAY

Just curious...

Why were these guys hired in the first place? TSA management should have had a little better foresight. You should have a long term plan, and know how many pilots you will need in he short term as well as long term.
Immediate furloughs means some management dummy did the numbers wrong and hired too many in the first place.

Pretty weak arguement. They are furloughing guys hired over a year ago right now. Bad planning? And hey Bright Guy, this is your managment also. One day it will be your turn.

You guys honestly sound like third rate politicians, trying to tell everybody how what you're doing has no effect on the industry or anyone getting furloughed or about how great GoJet is. I was at TSA and if you think I believe things at GoJet are so rosy, you're smoking crack. The only reason things are somewhat okay is that the Howlin Hindu has a hard time getting guys in the door. I recall talking with SK and at the time there were only FOUR resumes on file. As soon as he can keep enough resumes there, he'll have you bent over and howlin right along with him.

And had you guys not enabled a classless move by TSA managment, they would have had to deal with the TSA pilot group and there would be one list right now and nobody on furlough.

To all Go Jet pilots I was just notified of my furlough in August. Guess what??? I started at TSA before Go jeS even started flying. You are not well liked in this industry and I will never forget what you did not only to me, but your fellow pilots in this industry. Glad I got my 1 year pay raise for a whole month!!!! Oh well I would never come back even if we merged, HK isn't worth the pain and suffering.

NO, NO,

You are incorrect. None of these folks would be getting furloughed had you and your kind not enabled Hulie to get this operation off the ground. TSA pilots would have been better abled to negotiate competative terms for that flying, and as an added note, AWAC would probably still be doing some kind of flying for UAL had you not become a tool for that management. You may feel that you got yours for now because you're flying a shiny new jet and management has a need for your kind. You may feel that you have some supporters but that's only because this thing hasn't really spread, out of the confines of Hulas yet. I guarantee you however, that when another airline tries to pull this same dirty trick, we'll all be looking at you in even bigger numbers.

All in all, you are directly resposible for guys getting fired and furloughed right now and I'll venture to say that you know that. But as time goes on and more people get affected by your actions, your venture for acceptance will become harder at best.

If you're ever interested in making this situation right, I suggest you start working with the TSA pilot group to make this thing livable for all sides and prevent it from happening again.

Just thought this needed to be said twice for the few braindead that lie and support gayjet.

Another thought for you toolbags. This will continue to get much worse for the TSA pilots. Your fault by the way. My point is that the worse this gets the more visible your actions will become to the pilots at other airlines. When airplanes and flying are being transfered in even larger quantities and more pilot furloughs from TSA take place, you will have no chance of hiding what you have done to the TSA pilots.

You will become less and less liked by any of your peers and future interviewing pilots as you make things worse for Trans States pilots. I mean come on, Pilots are being furloughed with over a years seniority.
