They hired me with low hours and only t.prop time but it seems like it s going to change.
I actually heard the competitive times for future classes were gonna be as follows:
6-8000 hours with 1000 turb. PIC and FMS exp.

Good luck to everyone

But no college degree required

I asked the HR person about me walking in a resume...she said as long as he has 4000TT and 1000TPIC I'll take a look at it...again FWIW.

Well, I do have all those, live local, just lack that LOR. Hopefully they'll expand their search soon. Would love to be based where I live for a change.

Thanks, for all the info. Turns out the FO I'm currently flying with has a class date over their at Spirit. He has a connection. Hopefully he will give me the hook up that I'm looking for. But I don't want to count on it. As far as I'm concerned, the more I have the better. As for the time thing goes. I meet those unpublished minimums, except for the PIC one. At about 830 now, I'll have 1000 in another month or two.

Thanks again,

Christian

He has a class date?
do you know when?

I think they were telling him around the 1st week in August. Not set yet in stone. He mentioned they were working on getting a bunch of upgrades done first.

Officially the training department is gearing up for a September class (*and beyond)...according to the ground instructors. They have also "hired" (internal line pilots who will work as various instructors) about 10 new training department folks. The new folks still have to go through training department training.

Anybody know how long it takes to possibly get a call if your resume has been walked in and you meet the internal mins?
Thanks!
