It's a pretty cool place. Lot's of growth. Two Beechjets, one King Air, a Citation S II, with two more S II's, two Hawker 850's and a Hawker 4000 on the way. They just started early this year with just the King Air and one Beechjet.

thanks

thanks for the reply! Any more info would be great to: quality of life, hours, pilot bases and I agree it seems like a great company.
Thanks again

seems like a nice company........i think they just built the new hanger on the north side of the field and looks like they are really expanding...........im originally from elkhart so this is perfect.......currently flying down in Puerto Rico (the rock) for Eagle.......

buying more s/II 's and beechjets.......nice schedules so far......their flying us to and from the airplanes every wed.....so no need to live in northern indiana.....i believe the pilot that lives the farthest away is in omaha......they really have big plans to expand.....could be good timing!

Sorta!!!

the got both back in late december......then about 3 weeks ago they figured they had 1 to many so they sold one....now im not sure if it is sold or is in the process, but i know they want to get rid of it......also got a 400xp.......they also scrapped the plans for the 4000....now looking at Gulfstreams...

For those of you that work there, how "hard" are the 6 days off? do you often get called to come in early, or stay out late a day or two?

A friend interviewed and was told that the days are not real hard days off and you are still expected to answer the phone. You could be extended on tour. Pay was a little low-not bad though. They sounded like a good company and just going through a growing spurt and they need all thier crews. Could e a great time to get in and work hard for them to get on top.

Do you always airline to the airplane or do you get to leave and come back to Elkhart at times? Also how is life on the road? Do you sit around waiting for trips to come up or do you get to go to hotel?

Any chance either of you just leave Options to go there?

Airline to the plane. Have started a couple trips out of EKM, but they will airline you to SBN if needed. If we don't have anything else on the schedule when we finish our leg, we usually stay at the airport until 4 or 5 local before we go to the hotel.

Schedule & Trips

Maybe I missed it, but in the job openings I saw I never saw a sample schedule listed. I did hear 6 days off. Is it a 6/6, 8/6, etc. type of schedule?

What would be a sample trip (Popular Locations, etc)?

How are on the road expenses handled (hotel, meals, etc)?

Lastly...are they doing pure charter or are they picking up for a frax operator or something?

Thanks for the info in advance.

8/6 (Wed-Wed)

What would be a sample trip (Popular Locations, etc)?

Anywhere and everywhere. Last trip I was in California and Vegas. This trip I've been in Florida and Tetorbor.

How are on the road expenses handled (hotel, meals, etc)?

Per diem and company card

Lastly...are they doing pure charter or are they picking up for a frax operator or something?

All charter. We are dedicated to Sentient Jet.

Thanks for the info in advance

What is the normal legs per day. 3? 5? what about duty time? is 14 hours a goal like it is at flops, or do they use it as a limitation?

Is there a training contract? I'm assuming they type both crew members? How is their relationship with Sent.? I've heard some not so positive things about working with Sent...

Oh yeah!!!

Just got the word.......10 more 400xp's.............taking delivery of the first 3 in June and the rest by the end of December. ............ Let the Bourgeoisie roll...................

I know it's impossible to know sometimes, but what is NORMAL as far as knowing your trips in advance? Usually the night before or do you periodically get the 4am wake up calls? Do they adhere to rest rules?

If you like the trip changing after every leg and being micromanaged, then working with Sentient is not too bad.
