Yes! A few years ago, I was hired as a Lear pilot. A couple 3 months after starting, they asked me to sit right seat in a King Air, as an insurance requirement. After doing so quite a few times, when I went to leave--I stated that they had violated the terms of their training contract. No where did it state that I would have to fly rt seat in anything! Nor did it say anything about company discretion........After receiving many letters from them, I had a lawyer send them a letter stating what they had done. That was the end of story. This was just cliffnotes of the entire story, not a fan of pushing keyboard buttons. If you signed a contract--look closely to see if they have asked you to do ANYTHING that is not mentioned on that paper. It could be your way out!
