HI all, as you all may know I am always asking questions regarding regional airlines, their codeshare partners and where they fly out of. It's been awhile since I've kept track. Last I checked, here's what I had:

CVG, JFK, MCO: Comair
ATL: ASA
MSP, DTW: Mesaba, Express 1 (Pinnacle today?)
MEM: Express 1 (or Pinnacle)
SLC, LAX, SFO, all West Coast: Skywest
PHX, CLT: Mesa
IAH, CLE, EWR: Coex
IND: Chataqua
ORD, IAD: Chauatuqua, Republic, Shuttle America, Trans States
STL: Trans States, Chatauqua
DFW, ORD, JFK, BOS, LAX, SJU: Eagle
SEA: Horizon

Now, I understand there are several new regionals out there since I stopped keeping track (in 1999.) Compass, Pinnacle, RAH (is that the same thing as Republic?) to name a few. Where do they fly out of and what airlines do they fly for?

Again, keep in mind the last I kept track was when I was at ACA in '99. Thanks for any corrections.

Comair no longer operates MCO. It's only a Delta city.

There is no such thing as Coex you imbecile. Perhaps you are referring to Expressjet?

aa73,

There have been quite a few changes since '99, most notably the heightened hostility from many on this site...these are very tough days.

For Eagle it's now: DFW, JFK, LGA, LAX, MIA, ORD, SJU

Thanks for the replies.... someone sent me a link via PM that has the info I'm looking for.

good day,

RAH stands for Republic Airways Holdings. They own and operate three regional airlines: Chautauqua, Shuttle America, and Republic Airlines. The bases are as follows:

Republic: CMH, IND, PHL, DCA, MCI, MKE

Shuttle: CMH, IND, ORD, ATL, HNL

Chautauqua: CMH, IND, BUF, LGA, GSO, IAH, SDF, STL, CLE

Most bases cover flying for multiple mainline partners, though some are single-partner bases.

Thanks. Regaridng RAH, just wondering why the presence in CMH as it's not a codeshare hub. What kind of flying do you guys do out of there? Same for IND.

As well as pending purchases of Frontier Airlines and Midwest....

Gonna forget about lil ol' Piedmont, there aa73? For shame, sir. For shame!

Just for that I hope you strain your back moving your furniture.

Chautauqua was originally based in Jamestown, NY. When they signed a new deal with US Airways some years back, one of the requirements was for CHQ to relocate to IND. At the time, US Air was operating IND as a mini hub, though that went away before too long. However, CHQ was already relocated, and is today still the location of the company headquarters.

I believe CMH was originally the focus of the CHQ Delta operation, which has expanded considerably over time. However, in both cases, a large amount of flying was at one time concentrated in CMH and IND, and they became maintenance bases. RAH has found it desirable to keep crews based in the maintenace bases, and continues to do so today.

Close, it was the AmericaWest codeshare back when they had a CMH mini-hub
