Keep Obama out of it. It's the US Govt who runs this program. This is a great program for people who are in need and don't want to lose their home. Sadly this thread will turn into a political firestorm in 3... 2..... 1.....

You have no right to own a house, and Mr. O signed the bill that founded these programs...he even stumpped for it......so yes he is tied to it

Then why did you go to a state/socialized college/university? (Anybody go to UND?)
Why do you send your kids to publics/socialized schools?
Why do your parents used Medicare for their insurance?
Why do you file for unemployment insurance when you get furloughed?
How many times have we had threads "how to get a free type ratings" after furlough paid by various government job training programs?

Not likely because there are no flying jobs in bad times, however in recent history at least a 737 type gave a glimmer of hope with Southwest. Otherwise, this program, for pilots, is a free type. For taxpayers, it's a waste usually with no ROI.

Most of your comparisons are apples to oranges. I have compassion, but why do you expect me to have sympathy for people who show a total disregard for financial responsibility? As I've shown above, most things the gov't tries to take over are abused, mismanaged, lack proper oversight and FAIL MISERABLY.
