RJ FO from a respectable company
I'm pretty clueless as to the inner working of regionals, but it was a Mesa captain who didn't show up, and Mesa people at the gate that treated me like a burden. I'll pony up the extra 10% to my cost next time and fly with someone else. My time is worth something, to me at least.
Cosmo1999 said:dang man you sure seem to have a thing goin on with those crew meals. Last time I checked airplane food wasnt that great though it could be different where you work. Almost every post you make on this subject you complain about precious crew meals. Get over it, and if you need to you can get a nice little lockbox for your crew meals if they are that precious to you.![]()

captjim said:Pickle, when did you go to AWA? Did'nt you just hang out with my girlfriend the other night? And why was she walking so funny when she got home?
ChinaClipper said:you may wanna change you drivel about Mesa pilots, about 40% of the entire senority list is x-Mesa. Shooting your mouth off like you have will get you more than just a few nasty stares in the crew room, a quick anti-Freedumb statement may, however, give you the save. I am sorry on behalf of the entire universe and humanity at large, that pax meals are so important to you. Please post your schedule here every month so I, and others, can warn any unsuspecting subhumans who may unwittingly walk past your plane with a penchant for Third World style food. BTW Maybe you shouldn't go to AWA on the count that they have Mesa as their biggest regional partner/customer. If I read you past rants correctly, you should avoid ANY and ALL forms of contact with Mesa, lest you shining professionalism be tarnished or comprimised any way. Maybe I can put in a good word for you????

Nor am I necessarily wanting to continue anything. But the question has been raised.bennionjd said:On a different thread, you were pretty serious about the evils of PFTing. Isn't Mesa's program essentially PFTing? If not, what's the difference? (I'm not trying to start anything, I genuinely want to know.)
