As evidenced by the service in Atlanta.
Heh... I think the bagel place in CLE Terminal D must have come directly from ATL, because that's the kind of service she gave.
Took
forever to get a simple bowl of chili. There couldn't have been more than three people ahead of me, and I was there for more than 20 minutes. Flight left late, and I told my dispatcher why. (Hey, there's not gonna spring for crew meals, they're going to have to deal with the delays caused by the only available vendors.)
I get to the register, and she's just staring at the thing. (Same woman who scooped my chili.) "Just the chili please," I said.
Snottily, she looks at me: "I
Know!"
"Oooohhh... Kay."
"Would you like anything to dr--" She looked up into my cold stare, as I shook my head.
"Oh, right. That'll be...."
Honestly, am I asking too much? They had
three people behind the counter, although to be fair, I think... yeah,
none of them were working that night. Arrrrgh. The vendors are
so bad in CLE.
