Outtahere-

The new game in town is "retire and award". If ASA gives us EVERY LAST SCOPE ITEM WE HAVE ON THE TABLE, it won't stop this. No furlough won't even slow them down since our natural attrition will keep pace with A/C retirements. Since "retire and award" isn't a "transfer", that scope clause is out the window too.

I support my union and believe that recall, decertification, and single carrier petition are a bit too radical right now. I and over 60% of our pilot group just want my reps to accurately hear us and refocus our negotiating goals.

But they won't. They don't care what the majority wants, because they think they know what's best for us. They view us as kids asking mom for candy at dinnertime. Even the newest and most junior MEC member said that our pilots are too stupid to know what's good for them.

They will not do it on their own because they believe the pilots are behind them, and cite their Wilson polls as proof. Their heads are firmly buried in the sand.

How will you FORCE them to respect the will of the group short of recall or decert attempts?

How did you see it if he was on your ignore list? Once again, Al Gore's crazy internet devil confuses me.....

There's a little tag in the upper right corner that says "view post". Occasionally, if someone on your ignore list appears to have says something worthwhile, you can click on this and see the post. If it's their usual BS, you just move on.
