It climbs better on a hot day with a full load than then CRJ does on a cold day empty. At least in the 76 seat configuration.

NextGen?

Is the 7 and 9 hundreds already "NextGen"? I know I have seen it on the nose of some of our airplanes.

This is a "new" next gen supposedly. Some aerodynamic fixes, some lighter weights, and something about a conical exhaust that all combined add up to 5.5% improvement over earlier 900's (according to press release)
