Read "NUTS" before you make a statement like that. HK was not rich and one of the only reason the SWA survived was because Herb was an attorney and fought tooth and nail for the airline to survive. I also believe there were some payroll issues early on too. The 12 min turn came about because they lost one of the 4 aircraft they had but still wanted to maintain the existing schedule.Roland King and Herb Kelleher, for example, were some rich guys who played with airplanes. A bunch of Little People seem to have benefited.
Starting airlines is a very risky venture and most (if launched) fail within a few years.
