Read "NUTS" before you make a statement like that. HK was not rich and one of the only reason the SWA survived was because Herb was an attorney and fought tooth and nail for the airline to survive. I also believe there were some payroll issues early on too. The 12 min turn came about because they lost one of the 4 aircraft they had but still wanted to maintain the existing schedule.
Starting airlines is a very risky venture and most (if launched) fail within a few years.

What's the latest on Eastern? Thought they were supposed to start in March?

So, it's still a "go" ? Sure has been quiet AFAIK. Their website isn't really up to date. Any insider info or experiences ?:
