If the company takes away things just because we are attempting to organize, it really tells you all you need to know about our so-called "values". PSIA on healthcare is the pilot pays about 23 percent of the cost; the company came right out and told the CBC that they have no intent to bring us in line with our peers. Which of our values is that one in line with, BB?

Are you serious?

When we get bought, stapled and furloughed I'll remind you how short sighted you were. I don't believe one bit that the McCaskill-Bond legislation covers us with our B.S. individual contracts (Of course management says it does). We need a contract yesterday to insure we are treated fairly WHEN we get purchased.

ALPO will be no help. They'll ******************** you in a New York second. At first, you may find comfort, but before you know it you'll be on your own footing your own bills.

They? They? Uh, OK..
Yes, they they they. You're not familiar with how ALPO tried to throw AWA pilots under the bus. Rice comitte, wye river etc. ALPO TRIED to bend us over. Only when it was obvious usapa was going to be born did ALPO do it's job. The West tried and tried to get ALPO to follow through with it's own merger policy without interjecting its biases and predjudices, all to no avail.

Guess who is funding and looking after AWA pilots interests now? Yep, we we we, or us us us if you prefer. ALPO will not do right by you, unless it's convenient.

Go ahead, vote em in, it's up to you.

You just cited exactly why guys like YOU are the problem...

Have you ever flown with me? Becuase the last thing I am is someone who doesn't care about you. My message to the junior folks is that at my seniority level, the union you talk about is going to take care of me. I should be one of the biggest supporter of this ALPA effort, but I'm not-- sorry you're not going to change history... Just look at what ALPA has done in the last 10 years-- I know they've been instrumental for what we have now, but where were they when pilots needed them most these past few years... Standing in the corner, licking their wounds to "fight another day"...

Read the latest JTP from Dave Barger lately? You think our management is going to be eager to sit across from us and negotiate everything better than what we have now? What are we willing to give up in order to get what we want in our first contract? Hey, the shuttle bus is a funny one, but you didn't laugh-- It's my way of spelling out that anything and everything is on the table...Because that is a negotiated process, a give and take-- not just take, take, take...Be mindful of what you wish for...That's all I ask...

Thankfully you're in the very small minority at JB. Get used to the idea of ALPA, because it is coming, and right soon.

It's not really what ALPA has done in the last decade; more of what management has done to degrade our careers with us silently agreeing. ALPA quickly is getting the upper hand. It isn't perfect, but certainly the best thing out there! More resources are available going through ALPA opposed to going in house. Good luck guys; hopefully, the nay-sayers will realize it is in their best interest.

Blue my buddy, I don't know why you are wasting your time flying the line when a man of your talent and intellect belongs in the management suite with guys like me.

Your anti-union preachings are music to my ears. Obviously you are a guy who "gets it".

If you succeed in stopping this ridiculous union drive at JetBlew, I will have Dave secure you a generous bone-us.

If it fails, I'll see to it that you are extended an offer to represent the company at the bargaining table. You can make the line swine negotiate for the TSA style flying shirts they already have. We'll have a ball!

Hey Frank, usapa outdid you buddy. Have you ever sued anyone in federal court under RICO for a web post? Didn't think so. Have you ever thought of approaching usapa for an internship? You could probably get your ban lifted, and with your graduate education in place work your way back into the industry and do a better job than you did in 83.

Yup, and all management has to do is hit the reset button (Chptr 11) to negate all you've negotiated for years and years.... (UAL, NWA, DAL, TWA, CONT, FRONTIER, MESA are there more? uhuh..)... Didn't DAL ask their pilots for a billion in concessions to keep them out of CH11-- and then went CH11!!!! Last I recall, JB has not asked for one concession during tough times or even furloughed one pilot-- yet...(although I'm sure someone will spin the health care costs as concessionary). I'm sorry, ALPA is the UAW of the airline industry... Can't and won't support it...
