1. Coors light in a bottle, fished out of a deep slushy, icy, cooler.
2. Abita Amber, with oysters on the half shell
3. Pacifico with fresh lime, to go with those fish tacos on the pier.
4. Budweiser, when you're at the rodeo.
5. lone star, anytime you're in Texas
6. Anchor steam, at McHales pub, next to the milford plaza in New York.

I could go on all night. I LOVE BEER!!!

Coors Light is beer? I always thought it should be put back in the horse it came from. (grin)

Q: Sex in a canoe and Coors Light. What do they have in common?

A: They're both f#&%^ng close to water.

Gotta go with Shiner on this one

beer

St. Paule Girl,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Or may be just what it realy takes to have a good time CROWNROYAL& COKE,,,,,,,,, or skip the coke and have it over ice.

Courage's Best....some type of brew made by whoever makes Jon Courage. Only have found it in Britain.

Otherwise.........Budweiser baby!

Cooper's Ale from down under,
Boddington's,
Sol,
or beer from the best surf in the world other than Hawaii,

"BINTANG", Bali baby!!

Beer!

Already mentioned - Poligamy Porter - awesome

Also--any homebrew is better than almost anything you buy in the store. My stouts come out pretty close to a Guiness!

Another two Utah favorites (and these are 4% on the bottle, not 3.2 - how do they get away with that in the land of weak beer?):

St. Provo Girl
Cutthroat Pale Ale

Public service announcement:

Do not, under any circumstances, torture yourself with Sam Adams Vienna Style. Had it last night. It was horrible.

Many of the previous brews mentioned are on my short list. I'm goin' large at the moment with one of my favorites: A Sierra Nevada Bigfoot. The '03 model just showed up in the stores here in Viking country.

Gulfstreamboy, If you think micro's are girly, try a Bigfoot. Just don't hop in your B.ichin' Camero and drive off afterwards.

It all makes sense to me now

LXApilot said:
Killian's Irish Red

-or-

Rolling Rock

When I first read this I wondered why anyone would conside what is essentially Coors with red food coloring added to be the best beer in the world. Discovering that LXApilot isn't old ehough to drink beer took the mystery out.

Oh, and put me down as another vote for Alaskan Amber, perhaps not the best beer in the world, but a consistent pleaser.

Labbatts Blue of course.

Runners up:

Hornsby's
Fat Tire
White Belgian Ale

But don't forget the great cheap stuff:

Miller High Life (has to be in a bottle or it's sh!t)
Busch Light
Budweiser -- not light.

#1 Free beer
#2 Cold beer

After that I'll go with Shinner and I lived in Texas for only 3 months.

There was another beer I found on an overnight in CYOW. Caladonia 80, creamier than Guinness I swear.
