In response to good beer pub around Oshkosh- go up the road to Appleton to a place that I believe is called Houdini's. They make a lot of yummy beers- they had an interesting pumpkin inspired beer last fall.

In Newport Beach near SNA is Goat Hill Tavern and across the street is the Yard House (yards of beer) both have huge selections, I believe Yard house is the largest(200+ types)
