I was at TEB last week for an overnight. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Secaucus. It's about 15 min from the airport. Great hotel. It's in a little shopping complex and there's a health club in the center that costs like $5 while you're there. High Speed Internet, breakfast buffet. There's also a movie theatre and a few good restaurants. They have a shuttle which will drop you off at the Secaucus train station where you pay $2.75 for a ticket into the city. Takes about 10 minutes and drops you off at Grand Central. Or you can catch the bus outside the front door, but it takes a little longer. I only had about 3 hours, so I could only walk down to the Empire State Building and do that before going back. I elected for the train rather than the bus. All in all, it's a great time. I'm not a big fan of New York, but I loved my one day (way too short) trip into the city. Can't wait to go back again.
