What's wrong with Midwest folks getting to go to NWA?

Their airline isn't merging with NWA, and nothing in either CBA requires it. Pretty simple. A PID has no place in this situation. I think it would be great if NWA offered jobs to the MEH pilots, but your idea that NWA owes them a merger isn't exactly sane.

I say, shut the place down.

37/hour??? here is what one old fu%$ker told me "at least you guys will find a company to come back to when you comeback from furlough".

F&%K you all, who's in the right mind would come back to this outfit.

Midwest have the most divided pilot group I have ever seen.

I say go for it, you deserve it, work for $37/ hour you whores.

didn't seem divided on the call last night. almost every caller was "full pay to the last day" and that was with 1/2 of the pilot group on the call.

Typical ALPA mentality....and the reason nobody has faith in ALPA anymore....

Nobody "owes" anyone anything in this business....However we can either take care of one another or we can continue the current practice....

I know you would rather just procede with the status quo....

If you want the Midwest folks, or any other folks, to fall on their sword and take one for the team....You have to reward them....Otherwise expect more cuts....

Midwest and Air Tran will take more cuts before this is done...Mark my words.....There is too much downside risk for the senior folks because people like YOU refuse to change the system.....

hahahaha!

so our minority owner is giving massive raises but we get cuts, i don't buy it. this is all about getting cheap rates on the 717 to shove down DAL/NWA throats. mgmt is being nicey nice there until the govt finally gives the go ahead and then medusa will come out of ATL faster than a MEH senior captain willing to sell themselves out.

Sure, I bet its the pilots in the bottom half who were unified on the "full pay to the last day", CL wait and see.

Have the MEC counter with a company buyout of the top 100 or so people. There are a lot of senior pilots MEH pilots there. Midwest will have a lot of training events to bring people back to the correct seats and to the 717. So, why not buyout the expensive ones and keep to less senior ones (not at $37/hr)?
