Just make sure you push after an AA airplane. That should keep your taxi about the right speed.

If you had to do as much as the AA CA's have to do on taxiing you'd taxi slow. Their checklist philosophy I think reflects the old "FO's cannot be trusted to do anything" philosophy.

Flywolf, do not forget a thorough preflight.

I have some sad news, ....

I know of at least 5 senior guys who would vote for the pay cut. As we were all talking in the crew lounge they tried to convince me that they have no where to go and they have kids in college etc....,

what hurt me the most when they said that all the guys who are voting against the pay cut are getting furloughed and don't care about sending this airline to BK.

I just about had enough with the idiots we have in this outfit.

Midwest have the most divided pilot group I have ever seen.

I say go for it, you deserve it, work for $37/ hour you whores.

This is where our seniority system bites us in the a$$.....Senior folks usually do whatever may extend things a little longer....The pain of starting over at the bottom is too great....

If we had a real union we would mitigate the effects of seniority and allow some transportability....NWA owns a minority stake in Midwest....Why can't Midwest pilots go to NWA with their seniority/longevity?

Midwest MEC needs to file a PID and try to force a single list with NWA...

If you find a place for these guys they will be more likely to fight....If not, don't expect them to fight much....That's just the reality of the situation.....

MEH management has made a big mistake in this whole abortion of a strategy: they've already made it apparent that half of the pilot group is going to be furloughed. Well, how in the hell are you supposed to convince over 50% of the pilots to vote for concessions when you've already told them that they're losing their jobs anyway? Idiots. If Timmaaaaay had half a brain cell, he would have pushed the concessions before the upcoming furloughs were public knowledge. Now he doesn't stand a chance in hell of getting over 50% to approve them. But, as someone else suggested, maybe that's the plan and he's just looking to the unions as easy scapegoats.

In any case, tell Timaaaaay where he can shove his damned concessions. Worthless c---sucker.

BTW, our 3 member MEC will probably loose 2 guys and the Chairman goes to right seat making 37/hour. I wonder if all of a sudden the mec will work harder on the FO pay????????

I suspect this is part of NWA's plan...

If I were the Midwest MEC I would file a PID with ALPA National and try to get a single list with NWA...

This would be a good test of ALPA national.....Are we in this together....or is still everyone for themselves....

File the PID...protect yourselves....

Wow, you really are a one-trick pony, Joey.

Wow, you really are a one-trick pony, Joey.

What's wrong with Midwest folks getting to go to NWA? A real union would make that happen.....You're right though....ALPA can't be bothered.....

ALPA will get them a Kit Darby seminar instead....
