Why do you guys continue to work for Ramen then pi$$ and moan about it all day? Just STRIKE!! Call Santulli's bluff. If you don't think a strike would cripple that company then you are smoking something.

Even if they could hire a bunch of guys with Citation time they wouldn't be able to get everyonel lined up in time to fill the slots. You guys have no balls.

Hope you own one of the new "flame retardant" pc's.

Even if the NJA pilots wanted to strike and certainly there are those that want to, the current political climate will not allow such an event. Mediation is the order of the day. NJA will not be released to selfhelp any time soon.

NJA is covered by the provisions of the RLA?

What a dope!

Name the last successful airline strike. I can't think of one in recent history.

Continental and Eastern were disasters.

Comair was out for 89 days and their contract still wasn't all that impressive (their pay may have been the highest in the regional industry, barely, but the work rules were horrible).

UAL and NWA pilots got some of what they were asking for but I would hardly call those strikes huge successes.

Airline strikes are rarely successful. They usually cause more harm then good. For example, look at the atrocious labor-management relations at Comar & UAL.

To walk out just to "show some balls" is a pretty ignorant statement.

Hey numnuts we aren't an AIRLINE.

We are a fractional company

NOT AN AIRLINE.

Back to your CL65 at BDR

I think what beerfarter was trying to say is that you guys are in a position unique to the industry. Your not dealing with the general public. Owners don't like any changes from what they bought into. Airlines can just push off their flights to the regional guys or other airlines. Owners know that if there is a strike, in the end the pilots will get what they want because it will wind up costing the owners more money to try to switch companys or charter to weather the storm.

Beerfarter just put it in a Sh!tty way. Just hope that it doesn't come to a strike

The "leadership" at NJA does not like to be told what to do. You can promise efficiency, monitary savings, and better QOL for all but if they didnt think of it then it isnt happening.
Due to this attitude a strike is very, very likely. No one wants it but NJA does not think ahead, it simply reacts. Due to their lack of forethought they will surely have a negative reaction to the union forethought.
