Just spoke with Sandy. Final calls for the 28 May class should be going out today. Calls for the June 4 class will start soon. My July 16 pool date puts me in the 2nd class after June 4.

She said there is talk that these unexpected May and June classes may replace the classes forecasted for August and Sept. If that’s the case, there may be a long waiting period after the June classL

Of course this will all change tomorrow…

For what it's worth (these may be posted already) but I noticed some SWAPA stuff about being in conversation with the company about the over-use of JA for FO's....maybe that will help drain the pool....good luck everyone

I wouldn't be surprised if you're in class late June or early July. I was hired last fall thinking I was at the end of a hiring wave, but now feel like we might just be in the middle of one now. We'll see, but I'd bet we'll grow much more than expected for 08-09. Congratulations in advance!

Hey, any of you 4/23 dudes studying hard down in Dallas right now have any idea which day the New Hire Party will be for the 5/14 class? Will it be the evening of the 13th or 14th or even the 15th? My better half is coming down for the first two days and was curious. Just wondering and thanks for any info...

"The talk in Dallas is that the Training Center has been asked if they could run a new hire class each week for 2 weeks with 1 week off then 2 weeks etc, for the remainder of the year.

Rumor is there will be a "spectacular" announcement in the next few days. Something to do with Denver."

No its LBB so it can be a base. Then half of our crews wont need to spend every night in LBB. Especially after flying 6-8 legs.
