SWA March classes

Hasn't been much talk lately about SWA Class dates. I got my type in January has anybody heard of how many classes there will be in march? Have calls gone out yet?

I think 3. Not sure of the dates though...

Also, I have a buddy who interviewed Oct, go-ahead call in Nov, typed in Dec, and was told he barely missed the last class assigned, whichever that was (early March?)

My buddy had the same situation and he started class Feb 7th. What do you guys feel about calling up the PD? Is it best just to wait? Sandra, after I called to comfirm she got my type over the fax , said to "feel free to call back if I had any questions" however, I don't want to keep bugging her as if I did't trust her or something. Any thoughts?

If I don't hear anything by the end of Feb. then I'll make a phone call. I was told that I was just waiting on a class date, so I figure when it's my time they will call. It doesn't do much in helping how anxious I am to know though. If you talk to them though please update us here. Thanks

Nice suprise. Just got an E-mail invitation for a March class. Too late in DAL to call back today. Hope to find out tomorrow.

3 classes in March, but not sure of the dates. Then the plan for now is to drop back to 2 classes a month. I finish class in a couple of weeks.

Just got the call from Diane yesterday for a March 28th class. DB Nov 17th, typed Jan 24th. Hope to see you in class, good luck Guys!!!

May 9th, and 23rd. June 13th and 27th.

Chest, I was given a "tentative" training slot for 11 Apr. I was told that it was still 50/50 since the class dates are not firm.

Are your dates pretty solid? If so,was the 11 Apr class moved up?

I was a January interviewee, and told to expect a June class. Hope something comes my way before then. Any credibility to the rumors of going to a class a week? If that happens I would suspect it will cut the swim time down considerably?

Those dates are as of 2/27/07 and subject to change at any time. March pilot class sizes are 18/20/20, April 24/24/20, May 20/20, and June 24/24.

Gina called me today and asked my availability. She said that I could be in class in April. No dates mentioned. I interviewed in Jan and met the Feb DB. Charlie Brown, do you have the type? If so, maybe we will be in training before long.

Interviewed on 17 Jan. During the snow storm. I was told it would be a cold day in ah....Dallas before SWA would hire me.

I have a bud who interviewed in Dec, Jan DB w/o a type (just got it) and has been told to possibly expect 18 April. I was told by the PD that if you identify yourself as immediately available you could get a short notice class. Some folks have been notified up to the night prior.
