Anyone know how many folks SWA is planning on interviewing each day, week or month? Any guys or gals that have interviewed in March shed any light on how big interview groups have been? Just trying to figure out how far down the call list I am. Appreciate any info.

While @ LUV for my PC they were interviewing 12 a day. The interview was all day with HR type interviews for half the time and the new LOI (a cockpit desicion making exercise) for the other half.
How far down the list you are will be determined by your qualifications...

A Gross (144) for March

Heard there were four days of interviews each week for the three weeks starting the 8th of March, 12 per day.

As a previous SWA Pilot Recruiter - If you have any specific questions about the SWA Interview process I might be able to help. I also provide interview preparation for SWA. Feel free to email: [email protected]

Who are these people?

I was a Pilot Recruiter in the PD for SWA. I am no longer with SWA - I relocated to another state and unfortunately SWA didn't have any positions available for me in that state.
But always hoping they could expand.......

Glad to see the marathon poolies are getting their towels and drying off at a rate of 48 a month. It almost sounds like the pool will empty out (of the original long term swimmers) at the end of May/middle of June. Add in a few military folks returning to the SWA team (and the training they need) and the classes seem to be needing more folks as early as June. Will the first round of March interviewees be ready to fill June classes? Or did someone say the pool gets filled a bit, then classes start up in July/August timeframe?

Any thoughts from the SWA folks in the know?

Speculation

The pool should be drained by late May, early June at the latest. Folks who interview in March & have their Decision Board in April could be on the property as early as June.

The bugs have pretty much been worked out & the folks who have been through are walking away with a sense they were treated fairly & with respect. The interviewees are being given a very fair chance at showing the SWA folks who they are & why they wish to be at SWA. It is an overall positive experience with the consensus being (what has been said on here many times over), be your yourself & relax. Good luck,
