Speaking of that the quarterly webcast for last quarter's performance is on tomorrow at 1130 CST. You can go to the Investor relations section of www.southwest.com and log in there & listen. Laura Wright, CFO & Gary Kelly, CEO, will be making the presentation. Analysts predict we'll have about $126m profit for the quarter, $.012 cents a share.
Good luck to those SWA wannabees & hang in there...2005 will be a great year for Southwest as it relates to hiring pilots. Approximately 7000 apps on file, 2000 w/types (my best guess mixed with some informed opinion/sources)....over a 1000 folks interviewed last year without a full year of interviews.....hang in there & keep the faith!

We currently have seven Pilot Bases—BWI, DAL, HOU, MCO, MDW, OAK, and PHX. Our Pilot Bases are managed by Chief Pilots and Crew Base Coordinators. The number of Pilots who are assigned to each Base varies, from the largest in PHX to the smallest in DAL. Here is a brief rundown on each Domicile:
