How does reserve for a new hire work at Southwest?

Usually 17 days off (based on how many days are in the month), and a three on, four off, four on, three off schedule.

Hard to pickup on days off, but it can be done and it will be above guarantee.

Not as hard to pick up on a reserve line now that the FAA has made the operation safer with 117!!

SW has never required anyone to pay for a type.....

And yet the majority did have to. Ironic, eh?
