Have to wonder if they realized Hawaii wasn't going to be such a good deal. I'm sure the 800's were for many different markets, but if they figured out they couldn't do PHX and LAS with those aircraft profitably that may have had something to do with digging in their heels.

They were all replacement airframes so it shouldn't affect total fleet size which was not going to increase anyway.......unless there is more bad news to follow.
